Hello everyone, and thank you for taking the time to visit our site. My name is Jennifer Culbert and I am the primary creator of all of our handmade products and designs. I am a wife of 37 years. My husband Doug handles all of our business finances and lends a helping hand where ever we need him to. I'm a mother to 3 beautiful women, and a grandma to 10 wonderful grandchildren. I am a 2 time breast cancer survivor and as of December of 2023 I am fighting for a 3rd time. Arts, crafts, sewing, and designing have always been a part of my life. The name of our business "My Happy Place" is not only a brand name or a label. It quite literally means everything you see advertised in our shop has brought me so much joy and happiness while creating. I know I'm not the only one who has bad days, creating products is just one of the ways that takes me away from the negativity of the world and brings me to My Happy Place.
